Meet the team

Ealing School of Dance was originally founded in 2012, as Ealing Ballet School. In 2015, Miss Megan relaunched the school as Ealing School of Dance.

As we grow and open new venues, we continue to place emphasis on exceptional dance training. Where meticulous technique meets the exciting world of music, movement and creativity, whilst giving students the opportunity to gain skills that will help them develop a love and understanding for the art of dance.

Miss Megan

  • Miss Megan trained from the age of three attending ballet, tap and modern classes alongside musical theatre and singing. Her love for ballet started from young and lead to her completing all of her Royal Academy of Dance graded and vocational examinations, and obtaining the Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD) certification.

At 19, Megan moved to London to begin her journey as a trainee ballet teacher, studying for three years at The Royal Academy of Dance HQ in Battersea, and graduating with a BA (Hons) Ballet Education degree in the summer of 2014. During her studies Megan gained valuable knowledge and experience in the techniques of teaching ballet successfully. Megan still continues to develop her own ballet training and hones her teaching expertise through courses and seminars attended at institutions such as The Royal Ballet School.

Being the principal of her own school had always been her dream and in 2015 she took over as principal and creative director of an established ballet school now known as Ealing School of Dance. This has been the start of the journey to fulfilling a life long dream, of building a successful dance school training students of all ages in various styles of dance and theatre arts.

In 2018, Megan embarked on a new adventure to expand her knowledge and love for dance history; starting a Masters degree in Dance Philosophy & History at the University of Roehampton. In January 2020 she graduated with a Distinction and has been exploring publishing her research on Romantic Ballet. Studying part time alongside being principal, teaching and assuming the admin role for the school, was a very rewarding and educating experience, one which she hopes will have enriched her teaching and enables her passion for dance history to filter into her students dance education.
